Pascal on what we need to find truth

“Truth is so obscure in these times and falsehood so established that, unless we love the truth, we cannot know it.”

Blaise Pascal (1623-62) was a brilliant French mathematician, physicist, inventor, philosopher, and theologian. His observation is akin to Jesus’ words: “The gate leading to life is narrow, and the road going there is a tight squeeze. Not many people find their way through.”  (Mt. 7:14 KNT)

Never were Pascal’s words truer than in our age of social media disinformation.
